#1. I have seen that often (not always) the funeral is paraded in the streets. There is a straight way to get to the particular cemetery where the deceased has to be buried but people often take the longer way to get to the same point. What’s the significance and if there is any evidence of it from the Islamic teachings?
#2. The crowd carrying & following the casket using recites (or chants) Kalima Shahada loudly. With one person reciting the first part loudly while others following by chanting the rest. This goes on until the casket is lowered into the grave, the grave is filled & Dua is recited. What’s the background of this chanting practice?
#3. There are places that are far bellow the sea surface and if you dig a hole in the ground, you will hit water 2-3 feet down, i.e. you can’t dig a grave. I would like to know what are the different fatwas by the scholars of different fiqh’s regarding burial at such a place.
#4. For medical reasons if it is advised that the body should be cremated (in case of plague or other such catastrophic deadly diseases), would it be allowed? What’s the ruling by different fiqh’s?
Matsui I don’t know where you get your ideas from… firstly we do not ‘parade’ the body of a person who has passed away… and No we don’t shout ‘death to Israel’ … what is the logic in that… if you knew your history… Israel is and Inshallah always will be Palestine… the land of the Palestinian people!

I would also like to make a slight change. If you read the history. When we were use to rule Palestine , both christians and jews were living very peaceful life there. Not to mention that Jews also have their rights and their civilization started from that place. So once the issue gets settled and we get Palestine back we will make it sure that all non-Muslims also live there in peace.
I know you are going to talk about what they are doing to our Muslim brothers. Well, God fearing muslims dont believe in revenge and i believe we won't commit this type of mistakes.

It is better to accumulate more people for janazaa rather than few people offering the janaza prayer. It is among hadiths if more than 40 people attend the janaza prayer Allah might bless the dead persons soul. This is the significance and often in pakistan jazana prayer is offered after regular prayer in mosques so that more and more people can offer the prayer..

This practice is going on for centuries. apparently the kalima shahadat (second kalima is recited ) because it is very comprehensive shahadah of a person to be muslim. and when a person is dieing it is a blessing if a person can remember kalima and recite it.. in janaza it simply to make it more islamic and to make the people realize what shahaah means.. for dua there is no point to ask.. u can pray anytime..

I am not aware of any situation.. not any such fatwah.. perhaps if a person cannot be burried there. he should be moved on to some other place..

A dead body should be given a bath ( if its feasible for example if only few parts are left in some accident ) and should be wrapped in simple cloth sheets. and burried.. I guess never in history diseased corpses were advised to be cremated. The soil will deal itself :)
i hope my replies.. help though i dont have any references to give..
subhanallah
may Allah protect us all from the punishment of the grave and forgive our sins
Flamezz replies make a lot of sense.
and i agree about the plague issue...the soil will deal with it itself..Allah swt has complete power and if we are ordered to bury then we must bury the deceased...
the sea level question is an interesting one...wonder if more guppies have info about that...
If someone else has a few more reference to my questions, please feel free to share them.
Adding to the above:
#5 I have read ahadiths about reciting Sura Yaseen to those who are close to moving on from this world but I didn't know that it was also suppose to be done after the person has passed away, or at his/her janaza. Recently I paid my respect to one innocent soul who's relatives had a tape recorder with Sura Yaseen on at her funeral visiting.
p.s: It's not about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, so get over it!
