Q1.) Is there a such thing as heaven or hell (Sorry Roman, couldn’t find a different word) in Hiduism ?
Q2.) Who do you guys consider as seton ?
For example Muslims consider Seton as Iblies.
Q3.) Do you guys believe that their will be a judgement day or the end of the world ?
Re: Q1> There is the concept of a heaven (swarga), and hell(naraka) in hinduism. i am not too clear about hell being the same thing, because hinduism has the concept of rebirth, and if you are not pure enough to go to heaven, you are sent back onto earth to do good deeds and try to make it to heaven.
Re: Q2> not too sure, i think demons (asuras) live in hell, and torture people who end up there.
Re: Q3> end of the world.. there is the concept of "kalki", when God will take human form and rescue good people when the world ends..
maybe someone else can throw more light on the questions..

raakshasaas are demons.. they can live on earth as well, or atleast used to, according to hindu mythology..
there's a legend that a just demon king ruled the part of india i am from, and that Gods got envious and sent him off to hell... we still celebrate his visiting us once a year as a local festival..
so rakshas is closer in concept to Jin then right? but why then they always use the word rakshas in a negative manner in the movies?

i dunno much about jinns.. jinns are like bhoots, i think. rakshasas are solid, dark, thick mooched, horned, etc and are usually portayed as bad folk.. though there are examples of them being good too.
i think the early aryans portrayed the native indians (who would have been dark, stockily built folk) as asuras/rakshasaas.. just a small theory.

I am not sure about Jinns, I mean i dont think that they are solid, since from what i heard they are based on fire but I could be wrong.
I read this interesting article once that talked about how jins and humans live on the same planet but in different dimensions..it was kind of kewl.

About the judgement day I can give some more info. Hindus believe that we are living in a "Kalyug" which is the worst era of all. At the end of Kalyug everything will be destroyed and again the cycle will start with the best era which I think is called "Devyug".
So guys, to end this Kalyug all is needed is couple of nukes on Pakistan, couple of nukes on India. We all die and good times come back.
According to Queers' definition, when you die and if you are not good enough to enter heaven then you are re-born. Why is there hell in hinduism since you will be re-born again and again until you are good enough or you will be re-born as the rebirth process tends to infinity. How do people end-up in hell ?
