If you never try anything new, you'll miss out on many of life's great disappointments.

PP007 - Very nice to hear from you.
Yep, Dubai has some of the best malls around... some even out-rival those in Canada. If you need to buy gold, you can't beat Dubai's souqs, and the shopping malls are great for just spending a leisurely day out.
hehe no it's not about skills, i suck at photography; dunno how these came out good Masha'Allah. First time ever. i didn't take all of them, some of them were taken by Ammi or my brother.
Aalhan - if you don't mind my asking, where did your relatives live in the UAE?
wow your description of the Azaan was so beautiful Masha'Allah. Which emirate did you visit and for how long?
DesiMunda - you don't know how amazed i was to learn that you lived in Khorfakkan! Many thanks for your post.
Masha'Allah you are so privileged to have lived there & spent so much time there. It was my first trip there. i love it so much that i would like to buy a small house somewhere close to a mosque and the ocean and just live there for the rest of my life. If you have time, please share some of your childhood pics, i would love to see what it looked like in '93 and '96. Did there used to be that "Irani Pars Restaurant" by the ocean roundabout when you lived there?
Bismah - Many thanks for enjoying the pics & nice to hear from you. i stayed in Abu Dhabi for about a week, but i had to fly there from Pakistan last week to say goodbye to Ammi and my brother as they were leaving for Canada. i would love to spend some time in the UK, you are extremely lucky Masha'Allah.
Many thanks everyone else for your comments; 5Abi:) if i rejoin the WA forum it's guaranteed i will make it more dull... :)
Ums - My thanks again.

if this picture is of abudhabi’s corniche and these buildings are near sheraton, shamiyat etc then my sister’s apartment is in the marked building where i spent about a month last year.
Sharjeel - that's pretty cool, yep that building is indeed within 5 mins. walking distance of Abu Dhabi's Corniche and close to the Sheraton. i took that picture from the balcony of Abbu's apartment, so your sister lives very very close to where i lived in Abu Dhabi.
YA SHEIKH VERY NICE PIC I WILL TRY TO SEE DUABI.. VRY SOON.

**The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and not to twist them with our own image - otherwise, we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them. **
Wow spellbounding.

~~ Sometimes the road of life becomes unbearable and it seems easier to give up than to go on… But u should always remember that there is light at the end of the Tunnel. For every tear; you will smile, for every rainy day; there will be a rainbow, and for every moment of everyday, forever and always there will be Someone there to Love You and to confide in…I will always be there for You… To carry You over the rocky roads and lead You through the tunnels… To share with You the Smiles, the Tears, the Rainy Days and the Rainbows…… Whenever You need meI will be there…~~

these all are nice picture, unlike pictures from NA, these picture have different colour tones, may be due to different technology of building architectures!
In the alleged Tallest building, they used one supporting pillar, that is some thing, I guess the architecture working there are from France if I am not wrong!
All the pictures are nice and interesting, thanks Nadia for sharing
...there are seven emirates in the UAE (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ajman, Sharjah, Ras al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm al Quwain). Khorfakkan is considered a small part of Fujairah; I fell in love with this place. Very peaceful & serene...
Khorfakkan is a part of the Sharjah, so far as I know. But it is a lovely place no doubt about it. Khorfakkan is my favourite place too. Hope you enjoyed your trip.
