hahaha......If I say nothing that'd be a lie. OUR designers/actors etc are mostly muslim (well that's what they claim to be) and I'm surely not proud of half naked, smoker, alcoholist, adulterers and homosexual muslims.

All of them have atleast one of these nasty quality ( except some oldies).
Show me a pious actress or actor ( who covers according to the criteria of Qur'an, doesn't smoke, doesn't drink, doesn't hang out with na mehram... ).
I don't know all of them personally but I have seen most of them on TV.

Tolerant? Do you want me to say that I'm proud of these actors/actresses? Allah has also set a criteria in Qur'an for goodness (mu'min then muttaqi and then muhsin) , I see myself far from being a mu'min but at the same time I try to follow the rightous not these people who openly commit sinful acts.

No, when I gave the ref about TV I meant their clothing, body language etc.
Some celebes openly admit that they are homos....and I've also seen pics of them drinking and smoking.

im not saying go shout that ur proud of them but dont even put sumone down by calling them alcoholics,homosexuals etc etc have u ever read about how forgiving Allah is,do u remember how humble our Prophet(pbuh)was. he did nt say anything like u all will go to hell to t the boys who were throwing stones at him they actually did injured him but he forgave them. people do make mistakes its okie

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) forgave those people but did he (SAW) not stop them from worshipping idols? Did he(SAW) not speak the truth about their false gods? Did he(SAW) not punish people for their crimes against humanity?

Hareem, that's stereotyping everyone as the same! I know people that may seem normal to you and they drink and smoke as well..the only issue is that these people are in the limelite and therefore are spoken about. Let everyone do whatever they want to do.
I've seen girls from nice families dress-up in the same manner if not worse! I love it how people pretend to be oh-so-pious and holy and mock the showbiz industry.
