He deserves the capital punishment, but maybe he went psycho after what his brothers daughter did?
he is no psycho. he knows exactly what he did. he is admitting it. he says ""We are poor people and we have nothing else to protect but our honor." Even if the older daughter did what her husband claims she did (although the neighbors accuses him of beating/abusing her), in the name of honor he killed his other very young daughters (aged 4, 7 and 8). Can you even for a second begin to imagine being one of those young girls who just saw her sisters getting killed in front of her innocent eyes, while waiting for her own turn?
^or his balls must be removed...he being made castrated.... & dance like a transvestite in the streets of Multan...While children throwing rocks at him...till his death....
I think PCG....this is what "you wished to said"....right???
surely, the man should be hanged and would be in due time.. but the incidences like these will continue.. press only shows one side of the story - the spicy one! the sad incidence must have a background with boiling of the persons emotions.. the whole society is involved in this gruesome incidence.. hes living in a very close society unlike the west where nobody cares if some girl elopes or even bear kids without marriage.. we dont know the harsh life of the girl in her first marriage - circumstances of her elopment.. all the sarcasm and remarks the man had suffered from family and neighbors.. how many had come forward to solace? most must had rediculed him for crimes he didnt commit! all the persons who had told him that her other daughters would follow the footsteps of their elder girl.. even he hadnt killed them the minor girls would had carried the stigma in society.. its a major crime to kill and he indeed is a mass murderer but as a society we are all part to it..
^You very well know...how arabs used to kill their daughters in the times of prophet(pbuh)....this seems a sequelae to that to me...it is henious & demands no logic explanation...
maybe press shows one side of the story about the married girl. he killed 3 other daughters as well, who were aged 4,7 and 8 respectively. what “other side of the story” might be behind that? you think that those little girls may have committed adultery as well? sick.
As much as I regret honour killing, Hadood ordinance in Pakistan does not disallow it. I quote:
In fact, if a man rapes a woman in the presence of several women, he cannot be convicted under the Hudood Ordinances because women are not permitted to testify. Similarly, if a Muslim man rapes a Parsi, Hindu or Christian woman in the presence of other (Parsi, Hindu or Christian) men and women, he cannot be convicted because non-Muslim witnesses cannot testifySince all consensual extramarital sexual relations are considered violations of the Hudood Ordinances, if a woman cannot prove the absence of consent (i.e. rape or sexual abuse), there is the danger that she may be charged with a violation of the Hudood ordinances for fornication or adultery, for which the maximum punishment is public flogging or death by stoning. source: http://www.members.tripod.com/~INDIA_RESOURCE/grpakistan.html
So if the law of the country allows it, why complain about it? Change the law if you can, if not accept its consequences.
disgusting!!!! the guy should really be hanged by his balls...or maybe castrated...honor?? honor my ass...he just didn't want daughters!!! these people i have a feeling are spurred on my their neighbourhood "maulanas" who dont really know much bout religion...
all these things..."karo kari" which is specifically rampant in sindh...acid attacks, and marriages to the quran are just disturbing!!! and sickening!!! none of these things ahve any basis in religion, but half (more like 90%of) the time these people
claim its for religion and ****...
these people jus plain n simple, should be shot!
hudood ordinance is a root cause of many of the problems in pakistan...and that directly points 2 the "best leader" (heavy sarcasm intended) the country's had...ofcourse...that ****head Gen. Zia ul Haq
(...he's also the one that started the crazy inflation of the early 80's and the mounting world bank and imf loans pakistan is under...benazir bhutto and nawaz sharif just followed the precedent set by zia...wish he'd been killed in a plane crash earlier...half the problems of teh country would be non existent!)
Horrible case of honour killing in Punjab India. Sikh prents in British Columbia Canada arranged to have their own daughter killed in India because she married a lower class boy in Punjab. They were rich, he wasn't. RCMP in Canada did f'all to investigate. The Indian court system after 5 years of trial sentenced the murderers to life in jail but the main instigator of the murder is safe in Canada because total incompetence of Canadian police. Movie on CBC the week of Feb 9 called Murder Unveiled. Honour killing is not just a Pakistani thing. Indian hindu Punjbis and Sikhs also do it and rather easily.
