14 yrs old as i sat on the bench, arm teary and aching, and dont let anyone tell u that life begins at 14.. in 9 years of cricket, in all those innings, and all those matches, had i ever had a date with destiny as i had that moment..started walking towards the loneliest spot of the world, the 18 yard marker of bowler…in quest of a bowler’s dream.. 10w/i…and as i faced the last couple standing, i realized.. it was somebody who was there all my life…spilled the same blood in the same mud..i remember thinking would it be your day OR mine dear? well here’s your fast ball..rite down the pipe, so u dont walk away thinkin, i was afraid to give it to ya..

as i pulled out old photos after work today, i remember the last day at school in karachi back in 1995.. bunch of us gathering up to say goodbye… many who were there for all majority of the years, few even all 9 years.. remembered WHAT GOOD time we had…

now 24, and after 5 different schools, i realize.. that EVERY school i attended, i had one of the best time of life.. yes i’m having fun @ work i do, but life was simple those days..

Sighzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz those of u who are still i school.. please make the best of it ..have fun, study hard, be near each other..

:slight_smile: it touches your life EVEN more .. bigger groups are there, bigger projects, lil mature portion of life.. u can UNDERSTAND the seriousness of life..

and then u dont realize till BAMM! u have graduation hat on and u r in professional field…getting married, buying a house, paying bills, and…well having kids of your own..not thinking .. or actually, not having TIME TO THINK about your memories.. when u were like.. 12 and found that girl beside u cute and used to share lunch with her :slight_smile:

i remember as far as when i was 4.. we were really close with our neighbours… and their girl was like my best friend.. we used to wait till 4pm EVERY day ..cuz “jab abbu aa jeyngay to mil sakaingay”

we used to switch slippers.. thought it was nice to wear others’ slippers..
