Great collection Degas :k:

Faiz's poetry is no doubt unparalleled, but what is such a big deal about this Zia Mohiuddin guy. I think anyone who loves Urdu poetry, and can speak quality Urdu can recite anyone's poetry pretty well. Seems like this was the only claim to fame for Mr. Mohiuddin, I do believe he was some sort of a TV personality back in the 70s, but I haven't heard his name anywhere else other than reciting Faiz's kalaam. Well then again we are talking about Pakistan, where a cheesy band like Vital Signs can find huge audience! between the two, I guess my vote will be with Mr Mohiuddin, at least he has some taste.

Degas :teary1: yeh kia kardia yaar, watan ki yad aati hay bohat yeh sab sun kar :frowning:
