This doesn’t mean that you are to always post grim and humor-less posts, but it definitely means that when posting here try to maintain a serious attitude instead of trivalizing the issue being discussed. This request not only goes to those who post new topics, but also to those who reply to them. For topics which are more suitable to other sections, these will be moved, and you can check the top-left part of the thread to see which section it has been moved.
If the moderators feel, that a response is deviating from the discussion, they may delete or edit it to keep the discussion on track. However, if there are a string of responses posted which result in the thread going off-track or makes the topic a joke, then the whole thread is removed. We have many other sections provided on GUPSHUP, where you can share your jokes and carry-out idyllic chit-chat. Spare the Corner Room.
