Burns Road key seikh kabab, Sabri key nihari , student biryani key biryani, ghaseetay khan ka haleem , kaifay peeala key chai. Patel Para ka chicken karahi. These are the classics from Karachi. There are some new popular ones too which I am not not so aware of.

Clifton ( the area near the near sea side) and Defence are the posh areas of Karachi and safer than the rest (to a certain degree). Check out Zamzama, The Foruma nd Park Towers are good shopping malls in the area.

You will be safe otherwise mushkil se ginne chunee loag hain jinn ko kisse choar dako se palla na parra ho:) true but strange LIVING IN CITY OF JUNGLE with jungle animals rulingz;)

come on now.. karachi isn't so bad, if karachi is like living in city of jungle, then i guess rest of cities are worse then karachi.

Burns road is famous for all the delicious desi food, dont go for student biryani it has lost all its quality, go for Food Center at Burnsroad, There's a new restaurant opened at clifon near mcdonalds, kaifay peeala chai is still there but the same chai is not it used to be like before, javed nihari in Saddar (but u'll need to order a take away), I agree with the mobile phone situation, keep it low,
