Some girls...

Re: Some girls…

Allah gave us the Quran and the sunnah to hold on to. When we do something wrong, we can only blame ourselves.

Re: Some girls…

I think your question is very legit and interesting.

Everybody who’s saying what’s wrong in wearing skinny jeans and short tops and taking selfies. My question to all you guys is, **“So you guys saying Islam is not a modern enough religion and you’ve to wear anything that white/English people wear in order to fit in?”

**I think defending an act or an argument just because you do that as well or you feel ashamed of being a reasonable Muslim around English people doesn’t make anything you do or wear acceptable in the light of Islam.

In simple words, we Muslims have modified Islam to suit our taste/lifestyle/environment.

That sister who used to be well dressed in Pakistan gave up on her Emaan and decided to change herself, her outlook and her life style so she could be accepted by ordinary people but got rejected by Allah unfortunately. I believe Allah has ways to test you in this life starting from the tinniest little thing you do on daily basis to all the big matters of human life. I’m not saying that sister’s going to Hell for that Allah knows what he has decided for her.

I feel sorry for all those sisters out there who think and feel liberated in the western society and have an ideology that wearing tight or lose western cloths is empowering to women. And they feel so contended about themselves by the fact they don’t reveal their skins so they’re following Islam.

I believe people who live in countries like Pakistan or any other Islamic country and the people who live in western countries, the only difference between both of them is that people living in western countries are being tested by Allah in the matter of social lifestyle more than people living in countries like Pakistan or any other Islamic countries.

Because it’s clearly stated in Islam that you’re not suppose to be copying what a Kafirr does rather do the opposite so you could be differentiated and become an ambassador of Islam.

I’m not saying I’m a perfect Muslim and I dress up like a Muslim is suppose to be all the time, but the reason of commenting on this thread is that please don’t defend something that isn’t accepted in the light of Islam. If a Muslim won’t speak for what the correct Islam is how we going to change this world’s perception about us?

Apologies if I hurt someone’s feelings!
