Some interesting facts from Quran discovered by Dr Tariq Al Suwaidan. He came across some verses in Quran mentioning the fact that “one thing is equal to another, i.e. man is equal to women.” Few things that caught my eyes in particular are posted below. I will post the whole article later.
Salat (Prayer ) 5
Month 12
Day 365
sea 32
Land 13
Sea + land = 32 + 13 = 45
% sea = 32/45 * 100 % = 71.11111111
% land = 13 / 45 * 100 % = 28.88888889
= 100.00
Modern Science has only recently proven that the water covers 71.111% of the earth, while the land covers 28.889 %.Is this a coincidence? Who taught prophet Mohammad (PBUH) all this? Allah, the All Mighty taught him this.

Heres 6 mentions of 'Salat'....and this is just the first half of only the first surah of the Qura'an.
And the sea land percentage....do u realize how many new islands sprout everyday? And how many islands go under water everyday?
These numbers have been debated to death on this forum. They are baseless.**

Thank you all and especially Eastern Analogue,
I have checked the references provided by you regarding mention of salat in Soorah e baqarah and you are to the point right that there are more than 5 places in quran where word salat (prayer) has been mentioned. I had got this email from some knowledgable person and I didn't expect that it wouldn't have been checked by him. Anyhow, I have informed him of that. I always believed that you should check the references before you actually passed them on to other people. Thank you again for keeping me straight. Jazakumullahi khairan.
