Some are OLD and some are NEW by Arjay

***When SHEHRYAR bhai visited Abu Dhabi in 1988 ******for ***
***Jashn-e-Aali ***
we held a dinner at my place where; Dad’s school friend
from Delhi; AKHTARUL IMAAN and Bashir Badar,
Malikzada Manzoor, Perveen Shakir, Khumar Barabankvi
were there too..and it was the first time that Dad
introduced me to a middle-aged gentlement with
a typical get up of a geezer…lost in his thoughts
hung on booze…(which I couldn’t provide him at my apartment)
and it was then—that I came to know that this dreamy eyed
gentlemen was SHEHRYAR who stunned the Indo-Pak
film goers through his lyrics he penned for
Mirza Ruswa’s fabled novel make of a movie;

and my pick of the lyrics he wrote…is none but;

JUSTUJU JISKI THEEH…USKO TOU NA PAYA HUM NE;
