Anyone watching the eclipse?
i don’t have the proper viewing material unfortunately and don’t want to risk blinding myself so will be sitting this one out.
I remember the last eclipse where the teachers took us to the ground and we saw it through special viewing glasses. Quite advanced for a little village school now that I think about it

Unfortunately I was asleep at the precise moment this happened so I missed it. Saw many tweets/fb statuses and what not about people seeing it though. So gutted cos who knows when it might happen again

VintageSpring it will be in 2026 again. It was quite underwhelming actually. Didn’t go very dark. Just went a bit dim and then was back to normal in a few minutes

Was such an spectacle. Not this one, but the one I saw a good 20 years ago.

That at one was a complete solar eclipse this one was partial. The next complete solar eclipse will be in 2090
