Please don't generalize it to "Pakistan"... I'd like to know how many ppl were engaged in such acts. I'm not denying that there are ppl who do such things but they don't represent the majority by any means.
^ literacy rate of Pakistan is 49.9%, and 60% of its population lives in rural areas, and the country is still considered third world country…so i dont know what “Majority” picture you are highlighting.
majority is worst then this…see this video…and you will get a slight idea (even the example he paved of india, actually fits completely on us, Pakistani…in fact it is worse, as ppl leave their daughters on darga’s, astana, etc for their beloved peerz)
Strange, but i am sure its a small segment of society. Others even educated have their share of superstitions. These things will and are eroding away with increasing awareness and education.
