So today is the big day for all those waiting for a solar eclipse to be monitored. I dont know exactly which areas globally will be able to view the eclipse but atleast its there across US.
How are you planning to view the eclipse or will you be hiding under the rock to avoid it? How would you keep yourself updated with it?

OMG.. just saw the eclipse through the black lenses.. its a epic experience for sure. Though it was 71% eclipse in my area which let a beautiful shape of sun open exactly like the way we see moon when it was not full.
Here is a pic from Nashville. Again its Sun in the shape of moon due to rest of it covered by eclipse.

Yea I did watch it on live stream but from their reaction, it seemed nothing like experiencing it in person.

Thats a very fair statement cuz i was following pics/sctreams coming from west coast as well but when i actually saw thru glasses, it was truely sensational.
Infact I was a lil late as when i saw moon was getting out of the way of sun so the thin arc was upside down like a converging lens

NASA’s shots.. Heard they sent airforce jets to capture the eclipse from west coast to east. But since its a long distance to be captured by single batch of planes, it was broken into the pattern of relay race so there were different jets at different spots who were travelling alongside eclipse to capture shots in their zones.

I experienced a solar eclipse here in Austria back in 1999. It was a very strange experience indeed.

The Solar Eclipse was seen by many countries as many medical experts never advise you to see the solar eclipse with you bare eye as it can cause permanent eye vision disability. There are several charitable organizations providing better healthcare to the local community.
