yeah they disappear pretty quick .. but i have found a way of managing them … I have a separate basket to collect all the dirty socks … and I try to put them in that basket in pairs … they all go in the washing machine together … and i make sure when they dry up, I put them back in pairs …
If any of the pair gets parted , I dont throw away the other half, I keep them in a separate bag and most of the times , they turn up weeks or months later
I just remembered , A friend of mine has four kids and obviously its really hard to keep up with the sock count ... she normally ties a pair with a safety pin , right from , collecting the dirty pair for laundry , to the cleaning bit , to the drying bit to the placing the pair back in its place , the safety pins dont come off !!!!
^ … now the question is , how do you know that info
Queer remind me to gift you 50 pairs of socks on your next birthday
Kinzz, the max I can wear the same pair is two times … that too depends on the weather .. if its hot outside or raining , i dont wear the same pair again and it goes straight into the laundry …
I throw away socks with holes too...however if i cant find the other pair...i just wear another sock whose pair is missing too...ONLY AT HOME though hehehe :)
By the way , I often wonder what is so exciting about the designs on the socks … Like no one gets to see them anyways .. they are hidden in the shoe … why bother so much about the design or the color of the sock
In Canada, ppl tradionally take their shoes off at the door, so it’s in everyone’s plain view…so, wearing a cute pair of socks makes sense…doesn’t it? i never ever wear socks with designs on them,
