social work/communication courses

hi everyone…:wave:

i just wanted to get some info on the various courses u can do in the social work field… i went thru heaps and heaps of courses yesterday but am totally confused..

so if there is anyone out there whose in a related field or course… id greatly appreciate some advice..

IDS... International Development Studies, is one such option; there are many many others however. What precisely would you like to know?

do you know much about IDS?

Social work has little to do with IDS. Look at MSW tracks and the courseloads that prgram offers.

IDS is more for macro/micro development not counseling. kids… :rolleyes:

Usually social workers/ case workers have a Masters in Social Work certification. Butundergards also take a few of the courses prescribed under that track.

im in OZ... so its a lil bit different...

i was looknig into masters in social work.. but have only been able to find by research... nothing by course work....
