When I was doing my B.S. I heard about the trauma of the muhajirs who came by train etc. from India to pakistan in 1947. I heard that their children faced trauma. so i was saying if you were a muslim typa traumatised person, and your family was the same islamised then you would grow up to like religion and then reap the benefits of religiousity as well as the social iconism attached to it. what i perceive below is a munafiqat not known outside elitish circles. that of not totally losing the identity of islam when talking about trauma of paritition. I perceive the trauma of partition as enuff impetus to reconsider personal and social ties with hindus across the border each time you feel energised to do so. ![]()
