One of the frequent discussions after the July explosions in the London UG, was the lack of integration - of how immigrant Muslims kept to themselves kand did not really become “brits”.
Is this true? What exactly does such “integration” mean? I know the end state of any such “integration” has to be such as in India where, your being Muslim is nothing different or special (except if you’re under litigation in certain respects) in day to day life. But then these were not immigrants - they are all native to India.
What do British Muslims (or Muslims in other countries who immigrated there) understand by ‘integration’?

Before I digress, do you pathetic lot have anything to add to the topic....my response was logical because comparing Indian muslims is wrong (FJ answered it himslef by saying that those muslims are native). This assumption that integration will solve all problems is "foolish" as well. It will solve some problems not all and certainly none of the problems that gave way to the July attacks.

Everyone seems to have his/her own understanding of "integration".... Brit govt wants citizen of other countries to behave like christian whites in UK i.e. just visit your place of worship once a week, don't talk about your religion all week, drink/"socialize" like them etc.... basically they want all colors/followers of other than Chrisitianity to behave one way .. i.e the way UK govt wants .... that will be considered "integration", otherwise you will fall in "against us" category.
Let me get back to some sane discussion with some intelligent folks such as FJ, Seminole, Captain and others at GS except Stu :). Integration only works socially, it cannot and will not work from a religious perspective. Speaking of integration, I think Mohammd Atta was pretty well integrated, was'nt he? So how come he went beserk?
This integration nonsense is spinning in every country it seems. Multiculturalism is supposedly accepted yet when truly practised causes people constipation.

No FJ. What I mean by integrated is what backwards folks are clamoring about. Integrate blah blah. He did not have a beard, he went to the dance clubs/bars/t-t bars etc. He did not pray five times a day...sound familair...it is begining to sound a lot like couple of lads I knew called Verizon and Madhanee....:D. Now you tell me are they licking the camel arse as you suggested or do you have a better definition for this integration crap?
