What exactly do you mean by these terms? People will interpret them differently, depending on their political beliefs. For hardcore socialists, social equity is nothing less than the nationalisation of all natural and economic resources and for them the individual is subordinated completely to society, so that "individual resilient optimism" is only good in so far as it promotes the society's / nation's goals.
