well, I know that there aren’t many soccer fans here, but thos who are, here is something i always like to do: pick a squad of eleven players who are going to participate on the worldup, and make your dreamteam! it would be better if you tried to pick only one player from a country (so Bekcham and Owen, or Zidi and Henry is not allowed

people’s champ: basically the same applies to ur team: 3 defenders of which two are very attacking, furhtermore 4 attacking midfielders, without a single defensive one

Ronaldo will be playing, he is in good form with Inter Milan, but I don’t think the Brazilian team is what it used to be, although they have a fairly easy group, so one would expect them to go on to the second round

Can't pick the team with the restrictions.
I kniw only players from the Premiere League, don't know any current South American players inform.
I don't know why Bergkamp is so popular, agree he was the best couple years back, but now, even if Holland qualified, I would pick Kluivert over Bergkamp, seeing BK's recent perofrmance with Arsenal, which isn't very impressive.

I highly doubt Brazil would win, Romario is not picked for the squad to WC, Ronaldo is back and just like 98, he is highly overrated because his performance in League football, but when it came to WC final, he wasn't that impressive like he was supposed to be.

Bergkamp has more variety in his play then Kluivert and Bergkamp is a magician of football compared to Kluivert.
Final and last thing is that his scoring average is higher than Kluiverts.
Missing chances is on Kluiverts agenda.

I agree with Ali_R that BK is beter than kl. and that the latter misses more chances, but I think RvN is even better than BK and a lot younger

about the South American players: the whole Argentinian squad is very good (nearly all of them play in europe’s top clubs), Brazil has some good players and so do other countries, but at the moment S. America is dominated by Argentinian players: just to name a few:

btw I don’t like Brazil except for a few players (Ronaldo, Rivaldo, R.Carlos). I don’t like their coach: he selects too many players and then drops them. furthermore the Brazilian football doesn’t have the flair it used to have
