Word to the wise re mint - they spread like crazy and take over the surrounding area. So maybe growing them in pot is better - like TLK did.

I started planting very late but my mint is there in a pot as well but thats a huge pot so im sure it should be ok.

Besides everything starts vanishing by sept-oct utmost
