So yeah...

You’re married to your guy/girl happily for 35 years. Have a couple of beautiful children and a grandkid on the way. One day your spouse comes up to you and is like, “Darling. For my entire life I’ve felt like I’m trapped in the body of a man/woman. I’ve made an appointment and tomorrow I’m going to have sexual reassignment surgery.”

What is going to be your reaction? Would you support him/her? Would you divorce them, what?

Re: So yeah…

at the age of approx 55…will a doc do such a surgery:hmmm:

Re: So yeah...

oth pataan sawaal. Well as guppans of the forum say,"Divorce".

Re: So yeah...

I say, you operate on him asap! :D

Re: So yeah...

35 years

a few children

I assume married life has been..satisfactory. If you get my drift

I'd thank them for their er diligent dedication :D

Re: So yeah…

Well they certainly aren’t doing this surgery on 16 year olds. Also, 55 isn’t old. Also, they got married at the age of 20, so they aren’t 55.

Hey, some would say asking if an Afghani girl is good to be married would be an ooth patanG sawal but I’m not here to judge. Anyways, believe it or not, stuff like this happen IRL. Just google it a bit.

And welcome a new girl friend/beer buddy eh

Re: So yeah…

Re: So yeah...

A colleague of mine was married for more than 25 years with kids and grand kids. At age of 50 plus, he divorced his wife and started living with a gay partner. And he calls this "coming out of closet"

So may be such things dont exist in Desi culture but are realities.

Re: So yeah…
