hmmm… I would consider myself a mix of the above description.
1. SHE WILL CHALLENGE YOU
Challenges are fun! But being over aggressive isn’t. Relationships aren’t a game where you need to be winning. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Sometimes you lose but you still win
2. SHE DON’T NEED A MAN TO MAKE IT HAPPEN
Fierce. Independent. Self-sufficient. But I think it’s also important to show your partner they’re needed and valued. Even if I can do it all myself I would still like my spouse to know I need them and be open to being vulnerable. There needs to be balance between your independence and your ability to share the burden/struggles together.
3. SHE WILL BE STRAIGHT-UP WITH YOU
There’s being real vs. being rude. I am 100& for being truthful but there is a time and place for it. Really depends on how much you know the other person. How strong your emotional intelligence is. I am definitely more gentle in this area so I guess I don’t fit the alpha female in this scenario.
4. SHE’S A DO-ER, NOT A TALK-ER
Yes, I’m definitely a do-er!!
5. SHE DOESN’T WEAR HER ALPHA ON HER SLEEVE
Umm, I like the chocolates and flowers, etc. Let’s admit it, some guys aren’t that innovative. It’s the thought that counts and if he can come up with something more exciting..well..that’s just amazing! I like the small, sudden surprises/gifts that are individualized. Lets me know that he understands me.
6. SHE’S NOT EASY
Great things are never ‘easy’. Always important to know your worth. Different from playing hard to get and acting entitled though. I think I am more alpha in this scenario because I really have to know someone, trust and respect them to give them time and space in my life.
7. BUT SHE’S DEFINITELY WORTH IT
YES! But no one should make anyone feel small. I didn’t like that part. Both partners will need to empower the other at some point in their relationship. Hoping to make the other person a better, truer and more fulfilled version of themselves. It won’t be easy but definitely worth it!!
why would be an Alpha female scared to admit it ..she ain’t scared of no one I am glad to say I am one of those …though married now but my husband knows how strong I am and I keep telling my 6 year old son that women are not weak through different ways…
