now i wanna know if using mouth freshner sprays is allowed or not during your fast ???????????????????

oh sick..nevermind people

Just brush your teeth with a wet toothbrush, you don't need toothpaste. Bad breath is caused by bacteria on the tongue (I think) and if you scrub your tongue properly, you won't have that problem.

nope not true

nothing working at all for you eh?

'tis k. aks da local bling-bling king for dem gold tooth package deals. Prices are low this time of yr, and it'll be a seamless switch. From yellow to gold, then dye all ur hair back to the blonde color it originally was. To have a matching set of teeth, hair and IQ.

That, or move to england, you can flaunt your half-eaten pearly yelllows all ya want. Ya can be one of the gals again. :Pretty:

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Every (good) deed of the son of Adam would be multiplied, a good deed receiving a tenfold to seven hundredfold reward. Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, has said: With the exception of fasting, for it is done for Me and I will give a reward for it, for one abandons his passion and food for My sake. There are two occasions of joy for one who fasts, joy when he breaks it, and joy when he meets his Lord, and the breath (of an observer of fast) is sweeter to Allah than the fragrance of musk.

real musk was initially extracted frmo the anal glands of some deer type animal :yuck:

It is makrooh to use toothpaste during fasting. One may use the miswaak during fasting.

According to Haashiya Tahtawi, it is Makrooh-e-Tahrimi to unnecessarily taste anything while pasting because there is a risk of breaking the fast by swallowing it. (pg.679)

One should not use toothbrush and toothpaste during the fast.

One should rather use a Miswaak. However, if somebody did use toothpaste, but nothing went down the throat, the fast had not broken. However, it should not be done in future.

Aishaaa2.1,

I am exactly the same - I chew gum all day in the office and drink loads of water.

Maybe you should do what I do. I simply take 3 weeks off work - I go in for the first week or so and avoid breathing on anyone! And then the next 3 weeks are just bliss!!!!!!

I find its better to fast outside work anyway - easier to pray etc.

N

what do u do at home for 3 weeks? so..no..thats not an option. I used to carry around mouthwash with me in my backpack, but i guess mouthwash isn't allowed because of the alcohol content
