Hi ladies!
so what you guys have decided for eid menu. I’ve planned to have a dinner party on 2nd day of eid.
So far i have decided to make beef biryani, nargisi koftay, bihari kebab, fried fish, chicken tika. along with fondant cake.
any other ideas?

All of that sounds good but you don't have anything yogurt based (dhai bharay, chutney, or raita), and what about naan unless your forgot to list so...and a salad is always good. Good wishes for a fun dinner party.

^ raita/chutney is must, so as pepsi and naan:P i never mention it in the list.
well green chutney (for dipin in chicken tika and bihari kebab) and mint chutney.. and no salad! people wont eat it. i present behari kebabs with some leaves, n onion. and chicken tika with some lemon and french fries. thats it!

sure, I do.. if i got some time off. bcoz there would be around 20 people..
lolz reminds me of a pic i once found on facebook.. in which at aftar table when everyone was about to open roza, the wife shuts her husband up, throw a punch on child face, and puts camera in her hand saying 'sabar kar jao pehley pic le lenay do, facebook pe bhi lagani ha'

Sounds yummmm :yummy: we going to ammi’s for eid and following day to sister’s where i will help out ofcourse usually its ammi’s house first then everyone to mine but this time sis wants to cook, so i won’t be cooking apart from sewiya :smiley: ammi’s menu is so far - gosht puloa, mithay chaawal, chicken karahi, samosas, kebabs, roast chicken, raita, naans, salad, fruits and for dessert sewwiya which is a must and fresh cream cake :slight_smile:

On first day im invited both on lunch and dinner so no cooking first day. 2nd day i have sent out invites, ppl yet have to confirm and i yet have to think about the menu. However I will try to pre bake some cake etc. Would make haleem, dahi barey, samosey and may be pizza/chicken bread too so that people visting can be entertained as it saturday the 2nd day so insha'Allah expecting to have friends visting if not a formal party

Yummy:) All of you are quite the feast pro i must say hehehe :) Loving it MashAllah....

We go out on the first day to friends and extended family, and have an open house at our place on the second day. Im thinking of making chicken drumsticks and fries, finger fish, dahi phulki, pizza, and either a cake or cupcakes (cupcakes have less wastage!)

i will make mutton biryani,lamb chops,seekh kababs,dahi baray,raita and cheesecake.......will make chicken qorma if guests come because they dont eat gosht other than chicken even on eid...

next day will make beef lasagne,dum ka qeema with naan n raita and berry trifle

I am hosting an Eid Open house on day 2. Chicken pulao, chicken karahi, Chana masala, mixed veggie salan, chicken tikka, chicken seekh kabab, salad, raita, naan and gajjar halwa and fresh fruit and fresh cream cake!

this year, we are celebrating eid at our family friend's house. they are known for good food so i am hoping to enjoy festive meals :). i've heard they gonna have kaleji/gurda seeKh kabaabs, biryani, qorma, naan, sheermaal, shakarqand kheer i LOVE it ] and lot more yummy dishes :)
