She should wait for the guy to figure out who HE wants. No point being with a guy who isn't 'into' you 100%. If he truly wants to be with girl #1, he'll accept her despite whatever happened earlier. The ball is in his court.
yup. if he really wanted to be with girl #1, he would have made it happen. he's 33, i'm sure he's capable of convincing his parents of which ever girl he wants. he's obviously moved on, i think it's best if girl #1 does too.
