Little sister,niece or daughter…
Would you have let her speak and express knowing what kind of environment is out there…
I won’t… safety first :nono:

Re: So suppose malala was your family
Well depends on the situation. If she was my daughter yo..i would be concern for her safety and probably move her to more secure place in Pakistan. Well may Allah give her fast recovery so she and girls like her can even speak out against Taliban oppression.
Re: So suppose malala was your family
No way, if the her surroundings were not friendly.
Re: So suppose malala was your family
vat if you were malala, monk?
Re: So suppose malala was your family
fortunately, her dad doesn’t seem to think like many of us.
He’s been in the thick of protests and rallies… and may very well have been Malala’s strength behind the scenes.
I remembered this video from 2009… to quote her dad: “Death cannot be a hindrance in my struggle!” :k:
if you haven’t already seen this video, it’s a must watch! - you realize there are so many things that we take for granted in our lives…
Re: So suppose malala was your family
I wouldn't. I am not that brave. May be malala's family are brave? or may be they are naive. who knows.
Re: So suppose malala was your family
I just cant think to allow my daughter to do what Malala did. I am an ordinary human being. Great people are made of sterner stuff. I wish and pray for Malala and her family. It is in times of crisis that the families break. Now everybody would be blaming the father. How could you inspite of knowing what was happening. May God give him the strength during these difficult times.

Couldn't have said it better myself "great people are made of sterner stuff".
This is definitely a very tricky question. I mean, I would be in extreme struggle within myself if I was in the position of this girl's father. On one hand, I would be SO PROUD that there is a little girl like Malala in our world, and someone this world really needs. On the other hand, yes I would feel extremely stressed out knowing what could possibly happen to her. Truth though is I strongly believe this little girl has a purpose in life she wants to accomplish. Getting your voice out there and having the ENTIRE WORLD hear your voice is not for the ordinary. May Allah swt give her shifa b/c as a woman, I strongly believe that women everywhere around the world who are oppressed and vulnerable need her.
Re: So suppose malala was your family
Sadly, No i wouldn't. Because we all become selfish and emotions take over us, but what she is doing , is the REAL Jihad. So salute to her and her parents, and because of her, many other girls will be able to stand up and hopefully someone will look into the situation of what SWAT has become. Once a beautiful place now full of terrorists :(
Re: So suppose malala was your family
If is was my daughter I’d encourage her all the way.. tho maybe move somewhere a bit safer or provide more security..
If we all have the attitude that it’s better not to rock the boat things will never change..
Hope Malala gets better soon.. Hopes and prayers are with her ![]()
Re: So suppose malala was your family
I really wish, it did not have to come to this...
