So heres what I did:

I attached a filter to my showerhead for soft water and began using a build-up removal shampoo without SLS. I also used an apple cider vinegar rinse weekly, oiled my hair 2-3 times a month usually with jojoba or avocado oil. I gave up styling products and tools for about 6-9 months (I did use a straightening iron once in a while). All those changes really helped my hair grow shinier, longer and thicker and stopped hair fall. But now that its winter time, im seeing dryness and flaking. I controlled the dandruff but the texture of my hair is still blah…
