Battle lines are drawn. Looks like Ramday is leading the judges leaning towards the CJ and Faqir Khokher is leading the judges leaning towards Govt. I have never seen/heard of 2 judges arguing each other during proceedings. Ramday is voiding almost every comment of Faqir Khoker. Looks like we will not have a unanimous decision. Interesting thins to see is the closenesses of split now.

The decision, if in CJ's favor will be unanimous. Thats how I read the situation. U r exaggerating the difference of opinion regarding this particular incident.

So much for the claims about judges being neutral and under no pressures.
Judges may not be under pressure from the govt alright, but what abt the various high pressures from the various new found 'braadris' their 'dharnas' and 'umeeds' (read lawyers/media etc and their pre-verdicts)...?

Haris, no judge, even if biased, is stupid enough to be so openly biased that people start questioning his judgments later on. I am not sure its wise to form an opinion on where this case is headed based on the judges' observations.

^ Yeah I guess i know what you are saying. I have seen decisions totally opposite to what observations given during the proceedings but this is sort of cross fire b/w judges and one judge nullifying another's observations during the proceedings.

You should read what CJ sahib in his petition says about his fellow justices Javed Iqbal and Abdul Hameed Dogar, as well as the CJ of the Lahore High Court. It's enough to make a whole PTV drama, and more. :)
