i'd be pissed if a colleague took unjustified holidays ("didn't feel like facing the world??") and forgot stuff too. she probably feels that you think you can do this because you feel you won't get fired (due to her father owning the business). taking liberties innit.
if the job is important to you, try taking it more seriously and don't take any more holidays. show her that it's important to you and you want to do a good job and yea, try to clear the air by having lunch with her or something.
