So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

I do not know Allah , I do not know that it is haram to eat humans , I only know what is good for my tribe is good for me and what is bad for tribe is bad for me. I follow the norms of my tribe . I do what I am told by my elder and my leaders, that is my religion.
Am I hell bound ?
Why yes and why no ?

P.S: I am using an extreme example , you can use an example of your own choosing.

:jazak:

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

You are using an extreme example but since your choosing the example of a cannibal surely thats beyond religion...

It's actually strange that in a place like the Amazon you would be eating fellow humans... theres much easier prey elsewhere...

Simply cos of that I would say yeah your Hellbound becuase your choosing to eat humans... the same species. That is just not right becuase your using more effort to kill and hunt food which you could much easiergain from smaller prey or even non meat sources.

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

this would put muslims in the same situation if you died and met a vegetarian vishnu sitting around in heaven.. happy bbqing it would be then. :smokin:

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

Hey what has that got to do with anything...?

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

In some traditions, eating ones deceased relatives is actually a bonding ritual.

To each his own I suppose.

Either way the intention wasn't an evil one. Can God really blame them for not having sent them a messenger?

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

This is my personal opinion,
Do they believe in one God alone and that he is the creator of everything there ever was, is and will ever be. If yes then I think they would go to heaven
If not, then I would think they would go to hell.

I talk again about the people of the prophet noah pbuh, these people had no book to follow, all that was required of them was the belief in one God, they could have had 50 wives/husbands been homosexual, canabals etc but in those primative times belief in 1 God alone was enough. The human race has evolved and so have the tests, because of the knowledge we now have makes our responsibilty even greater.

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

Interesting viewpoint… :k:

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

I personally think that if those people are hell bound because of ignorance which is out of their control, then that is injustice. (Assuming Islam is the one)

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

One is supposed to worry about one's own problems and situations. Not for someone who is a mythical person.

Any answer would be correct or even wrong since there is no right or wrong answer to such questions.

Besides how does it help anyone in anyway to ask these kind of questions? For having fun it is fine though. :)

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

They will be placed at some neutral venue and served with roasted hell bond humans :yummy:

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

Here is an unknown tribe that was discovered in 2007 they are hardly ‘mythical’

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

Did you think I used mythical person example literally and I do not know people live far from civilization?

Please read my next two sentences above.

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

Apologies for thinking 'mythical' meant 'mythical'
yes I read it all and disagreed with it all.

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

No need to apologize, it happens. :)

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

vomit

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

say i live in a remote area of Pakistan, have access to no education what so ever and then i Kill someone, would ignorance would allow me pardon from the sentence?

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

We are really not responsible for something which is beyond our control.

La yukallifullahu nafsan illa wus'aha
Laha ma kasabat wa alayha maktasabat (2:286)

"God does not burden any human being with more than he is well able to bear:
In his favor shall be whatever good he does, and against him whatever evil he does.

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

Divine laws and logic are not as shallow as human logic and man made laws. You cannot compare divine logic and laws to those of humans.

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

I have no problem with you worrying about your own problems. But I cannot. I have to face this and many other questions frequently from those who are interested in knowing about what Islam has to offer to them for their inner peace , salvation and eternal life.
I know something which is logical for you might not be logical for me and vice versa. But I have to try to come up with some plausible answers to these kind of questions.
Trust me that this and other questions I posted or will post in these forums are not for some chuska. My own emaan is firm . Alhumdulillah and it cannot be shaken ever . Inshallah. Ameen.

Re: So I was born in a cannibal tribe of Amazon.

First of all it's not extreme to find such tribes even today, Look at the Continent of Africa & South East Asian Island nations .. you will found plenty of such tribes & communities.

I believe everyone who believe on one God will go to heaven. Now as these tribes probably live in such environment where they don't have knowledge & education regarding anything which is virtually possible by human mind, for them even a small electric item would be a miracle or a God's gift or something, well heck they preach fire and certain animals. Can you blame them? I can't ..and i believe neither God will be.

The moral values & good/bad deeds is all common around the world, every person regardless of his environment can feel pain, hunger, women gave birth to child, the male newborns are given more love & importance even in these tribes.

Let's take an example here:
Two cannibal tribe's man offering each other food or sharing their meal should be consider a good deed or helping other person who got stuck on tree somewhere in jungle ... make sense? - probably on these deeds i think they will be taken care on the day of judgement.
