- Deploy software with MSI Packages ( windows install packages )
( you have to go to Group Policy–> Computer Configuration–>Software Installation ) - Apply all patches and service packs if u haven’t already.
- set a WSUS server for WinUpdates to clients -
- Harden the Server (Secure Windows 2000 server) & run MBSA to verify
- Read all Group Policies… its very powerful
- Check DNS and DHCP
- Install Exchange Server if u have the CD.
- Download win3k resource kits
