I feel like this is a myth. If men purely saw sex as a recreational activity there wouldn’t be such a hostility towards promiscuous women who hold the same attitudes about sex they do.
Just a stereotype, I held the same opinion as you before since that is what I was told by media but many guy friends I have talked to consider it emotional part of a relationship. Are there guys out there who don’t get attached through physical intimacy? Of course there are but there are women like that too.
That’s the pc answer lol, i also reassure my female friends when they ask these type of questions however every guy knows we won’t shed a tear for losing our virginity or thinking that a woman owes us marriage just cause we slept together lol. There are exceptions ofcourse and gender norms are changing cause of popular culture.
Safy was devastated when Clara broke up with him, he was committed and she just wanted physical relationship. I have seen all of Safys friends break ups and I have seen these 6 ft tall well built guys cry. I am not sure if this boy knows what he is talking about. In this new breed girls seem to be more physical and they seem to be more prone to infidelity.
