installing the new laser-measurement devices in our automated cranes and i realize.. its 4am and our department would be at break … (taking a nap)..
so i take out my radio, connect to our speaker-PA system (which is hooked up with a megaphone in our department) and yell with FULL potential of my lungs.. "alert, alert, this is not a drill "
knowing my naping partners in crime would have $hit their pants hearing an alert at 4am, i waited 5 seconds, and announced “yes its 4am, and NOW that all of u r awake, can u make me some tea”
needless to say when i reached ground, and stepped in my department, tea was ready with PISSED off look at people’s faces, and saw a bunch of cards on the floor
found out later that one group was playing cards and hearing emergency megaphone just made them jump and cards went everywhere..
ahhhhh… since it was weekend for our team, everyone was just not in a mood for a group-torture
