fanta, you already found out the procedure..would you like to see one with photographs..i can share it in a day or two..its a home manicure from a book that i have..very easy infact..i can scan the pages for you :)

:bummer: that’s very true :crying:

regarding manicures-i hear you shouldn’t do them too much b/c the chemicals ruin your nails and skin.

Because now is when i use a lot of chalk :p

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: So how to do a …

don’t use CaO2, chalk, use either white board and removable markers or buy your own dust-less chalk!
just spend a lil, and you can save your health, breath, and of course nails :k:

Fanta, come over. I’ve got the whole kit ready.

just put your fingers in a ‘keema-banaane-wali machine’ and all is fixed :k:

fanta, i feel sorry for you..i know how chalk ruins your cuticles and hands..it makes them so dry..all the ladies in my family were teachers..so i know. You can do a manicure at home..but you won't be able to work with cuticles..coz hanging cuticles are taken off by cuticle nippers.

You know..if you can get any sally hansen nail products or avon..you can use them around your cuticles before going to bed.

Anyhow, here's the promised scan for you..hope it helps :)

As for filing them..start with one end and move the file in a u shape..if you like that shape..or file straight for square shape.

One more thing..you can apply grapeseed oil and massage your hands..or virgin olive oil..before going to bed..and hopefully in a week..your hands will be much healthier :)

could someone explain what manicure can do and what is the objective of it?
