So how many of you have really felt love, true love?

Re: So how many of you have really felt love, true love?

Four wives werent allowed so you could fulfill your sexual desires. Furthermore, Ive not met a single person who has 4 wives or even 2 and has been just and fair with ALL. Its not possible to love all equally and even though our Prophet saw did, it doesnt mean we are all capable of it.

You really believe sleeping around before marriage was a test? You think Allah swt was testing you and you passed so now you're an amazing husband? Do you really believe all those girlfriends you had in the past are just gone? That when you die, you wont have to answer for that? Its GUNAH. Its a HUGE SIN. And you will be questioned for it.

You think a good husband would be posting on online forums about previous lovers he has had while his wife sits there blindly thinking she was the best thing to happen to him? You think thats fair? Which one of us were you expecting to give you a Yippee on that one?

You're proud about something you should be ashamed of. Thats the yucky part.

The worst part here is that you compared your affairs with our Holy Prophet's marriages. You are justifying your acts of adultery with his examples of marriage. Nauzubillah.

EDAL, you're not really getting this one are you?

Keeping 4 wives is not easy. It could be lethal for a non caring kind of husband. One of my cousin was living happily with 1st wife (very beautiful lady) and three beautiful kids. He married another girl and brought her in same house. After a year or so they started fighting. End result, both girls joined hands. He died within 6 months.

This is actually the best part.

Great points Reha. I 2nd Curious Lady that the part in red is the best part. Unfortunately....no, I don't think Edal "gets" it.

Re: So how many of you have really felt love, true love?

You’re absolutely right that the Prophet loved all his WIVES. However, according to your own admission, the woman who inspired this thread…the love of your life…is not your 1st or 2nd wife. The woman in this thread is one of your many ex-girlfriends.

So now the love you feel for one of your ex-girlfriend’s is comparable to the love our Prophet had for his wives? :hoonh: LOL…this just keeps getting better and better…

Re: So how many of you have really felt love, true love?

Actually I have read in hadith that our beautiful beloved and blessed prophet (PBUH) loved hazrat Khadija (may Allah be pleased with our mother) the most, one time long after she had passed away he found her necklace and began to weep. The place she had in his heart, no wife could take her place. She was the first person to believe in him

I never ever brought up the word adultery or Zina in this thread, I was just saying there is nothing wrong with a man having 4 wives. Yeah I couldn't do it, but those that do, good for them. A man can have more than one woman in his heart, our prophet did, and he is the best example for any Muslim man. No where in Koran or hadith it says that marrying 4 wives or loving 4 women is only for prophet.

Yes Alhamdulliah I am glad for my crazy ex the reason is because of the stress she caused me, forced me to go back to Allah SWT.

Further, even the experiences with other girls, I am thankful in a way for that too. Because I learned from it! I got it all out of my system, I have no desire now to go "drinking and clubbing " because I already did more than enough of that. I have no desire for "white" girls cause I know its nothing special.

So many guys are tempted to cheat after marriage cause they "missed out in college". I didn't

But Alhamdulliah, I realized it was wrong and made Taubah, and God says in Koran that he will forgive any sin and to never despair in his mercy. So I am confident my master will forgive me, cause I repented with a sincere and humble heart and will inshallah never do it again.

Many guys never do that, I know an Afghan brother who still to this day cheats on his Egyptian wife constantly. While she gives birth to his sons. He is still the same as he was in high school, alhamdulliah at least I saw the light.
