As i said, govt explanation is not good enough for me, and nither is the yip yap of sherry et al. to end all that an autopsy must be performed.

to me it does not really matter, to me what matters most is that the real identitis of teh shooter and bomber are established and then this thing investigated.

whether she died of bullet, bomb fragment or hitting her head, it does not matter because as I said, she would not be dead had there be no attack so atleast for me the actual cause of death is immaterial but the conditions/situation that caused her death i.e. teh attack is important, and that needs to be investigated.

but if for others the 'cause' of death is so important then that can be accomplished by post mortem. let it be done, for the sake of the nation.

All I am saying is, yip yap of Sherry Rehman holds far more weight then the govt... Regardless of you personal feelings for her, its diffcult to believe that she had called it wrong.
I have been in hospitals, and I have seen emergency cases, and its obvious for even the most uneducated and uninitiated to spot where a wound is...

As far as what hit her head, I dont know, its possible the bomb fragments did it, but you have to go to the scene of the crime to determine that... Sherry Rehman only said she was wounded in the neck and chest. What she was wounded by, we obviously dont know, but according to both testimonies, Benazir fell back into the car before the explosion.

As for autopsy, that up to her family.. I think its insensitve to be demanding an investigation into something thats such a non issue to be quite frank.
If it were your wife or mother god forbid, would you do things differently?

In the latest video aired by Channel 4 and then by other channels like GEO show it clearly , that after the first fire, her hair from left/behind blew in in the air, and then she hit the sunroof..

Geo TV anchor Sana something ( Metrolite girl) bragged for 30 odd times that BB hit sun roof ,, but infact just before hitting sun roof frame, its mor ethan obvious that her hair blew in the air, as if something entered to her hair from behind, then she fell on the sun roof..

Amateur news anchors should not be allowed to comment on such important issues.

I feel only real way right now is for a post mortem to setthe record straight

and u know the sad thing, if a bullet hole is found some ppl would say her ppl put it thru her after her death, and even sadder thign is that the way things are done in pakistan that could be right as well.

govt needs to make allnotes xrays etc done by docs public for starters, and then there needs to be a post mortem.

so the car was secure enought o deal with the bullet or the bomb, she would be alive had she not stuck her head out.

the fact she was so close to teh shooter when she stuck her head out can not be jus chance. someone from her own party set her up. there amy be multiple players in her death.

I have said its a non issue for me, bti for those who it is an issue, that is the only way to convince them.

from my perspective, the faces of attackers are on film, lets figure out who they are, follow their trail.

if my wife or mom was assassinated and I thought it was a cover up, by all means I would allow a post mortem. I unfortunately have had to sign off on post mortem for my own children so I know how it is.

Yar ... question is that, does it matter what was the cause of her death ... bullet, bomb or hittting the latch? ... in the end she died of her foolishness that she was poking her head out amongst masses knowingly that some amongst mass could be there to kill her ... as government has already warned her, gave her a bullet proof, bomb proof car, and expected her to keep her head in for her own safety.

Thank Allah some ppl on this forum are thinking the same as me, why won't Zardari let there be an autopsy on his wife's body. Listening to Sherry Rehman last night on the news she said BB was bleeding so profusely that 'we had to take her in my car' So if Sherry was with BB in that vehicle how come her 'own car' appeared and they rushed BB in SR's car? Just as i said last night, Zardari would have a role in Pak politics, seems i was right. At 19 years old Bilawal isn't even old enough to stand in pakistan elections, never mind lead the party. Now this afternoon Sky News has quoted that Zardari has asked the UK & UN to investigate his wife's death. How convenient, the UK & US government were dying to get into Pakistan, now they've found a way. I mean UN is just another name for the US. So it looks like the US has decided to distract attention from Iraq & Afghanistan and put the world's attention on Pakistan and civil war etc as their media is crying out. Next it'll be we needed to go in there to save lives, and before you know it they will have taken over. The only way for the Pakistan nation is a) for the rioters & looters to stop this bloody mess their putting their country into b) unite together c) vote and get rid of mush, PPP & Sharif. Its time for Pakistan to move forward, after all its abit like if you keep eating the same food over & over you'll get sick & fed up. Its the same wid Pakistani politics, you get PPP, followed by NS, followed by PPP and so the circle keeps going round & round & round.... PS. sorry for ranting but i need to get that outta my system.

Zardari could have opted for this method if he didn’t want traditional post mortem being performed on his wife. You would have thought Pakistan scient what with it being so advanced that they can make a nuke that the docs didn’t offer this option to Zardari (or if they did & he rejected) I still smell a rat (with a great big tash!) and it looks like the mouse with the Emporio Armani specs ain’t gona have a lot of potential - unless now that he’s taken on mummy dearest surname to get him noticed in the world. I asked my mum if i could take on her surname and all i got was a jhoota coming my way! Hmm wonder why… must be summat to do with mum not having much dosh in her account. sigh!

Zardari is a jerk; there is no need of international investigators. If he wants investigation done then he should let them have the autopsy and he can hire private investigators within Pakistan.

Yes, people can accuse the govt as much as they want, but those same people cannot answer the question as to why Zardari will not allow an autopsy of BB's body? Tha would surely clear all doubts as to how she was killed, rather than rely on grainy video pics.

Yes, but does it conclusively prove that she was shot? I don't think so. The rest of your question I have answered earlier somewhere in this merged thread, if you don't agree with it, that's fine. Further if the govt wanted to hide anything they would have surely delayed releasing the body to the family, friends etc, yet they let it go in record time.

Either way as we know after 44 years videos and countless conspiracy theories have not conclusively proved who killed JFK, so I don't think it will in the case of BB's murder.

But what will prove HOW BB was killed - bullet, shrapnel, lever etc, will be a full autopsy of her body. Now the govt is not disallowing that - it is Zardari. So the onus is on him to agree and put all these doubts to rest, lest we end up with a JFK-like mystery forever.
