CNN has the video of the shooting. The shooter was on the ground and seem to have tried to make use of the opportunity when Benazir was stnaidng through the sunroof, but despite being so close, the shots missed her as he was on the ground and Benazir was at a higher level and the angle was not easily manageable. He then immediately blew himself up.
Seems credible that she got killed by getting her head banged against the roof lever. Whether shots missed her (which they did) or not, is immaterial, as they are both moments in the same attack.
So it is clear that she died in this attack, staged by that suicide bomber. The only question remains is who that bomber was linked to. which many of us think AQ and Taleban, and the Taleban supporters think it was the Govt. I doubt anything can convince them to the contrary anyway , since they also believe that people holed up in Lal Masjid were throwing rose petals out on the soldiers.
By the way: No amount of Security could have protected Bhutto as her organizers were dumb enough to let the crowd gather around her vehicle 80’s and 90’s style. The only way to protect her was for the organizers to keep the crowd away, and Benazir to stay inside the vehicle. I think we can give the Govt. a break in this case.

what a load of Bull! Also your theory about the gunman missing doesnt make sense, unless you were there watching the whole thing as en eye witness, who by the way said that the bullet hit her.
