It was not until the Isaiah Washington (Grey’s Anatomy fame) episode a few weeks ago that I realized that the word “faggot” is now a complete no-no in public media. Probably considered the same as the n-word for blacks.
So its either we are talking political correctness to a whole new level or the gay and lesbian lobby is just getting way too stronger.
Since we are on a roll to banish all expressions that may hurt the sentiments of a minority, I have a few more politically incorrect terms which I believe should be added to the list.
Brownie (ref: South Asian people)
Chunky (ref: Oriental people)
Fatso (duh!! fat people)
Lambo (tall people - urdu term)
You use any of them and you should be forced to enroll in a rehab.
... and what about "shorty" - (or its urdu counterpart - "githo") the hugely insulting word used for all those who are not bestowed with a tall height. This is such a heart-breaker. It should be banished. Anyone using it should be rehab'd.
^ May be in New York. Here in California, its Makko. But you know what, just to be on the safe side... lets ban both these. Its PC time, folks! Where skins are thin, anything that hurts should be a rehab'able offence.
