Elections Elections ..vote for me ..vote for me.. Musharraf haye haye… yadda yadda wooo woo bla blaa
now that all that fuss is over.. what has the change brought in the country. Me being an overseas Pakistani do get to read the news everynow and then but that doesnt paint the whole picture really. i would like to know from the people back home in pakistan as to how has life changed there under the new government. Prices? violence? expenses? has there been any drastic changes under this new government? Do we see a good future for our country under this leadership?
most of them will say, give them some time to make peoples life a luxury in couple of months time who are so sucked off by Musharraf. i wait to know what magic this govt will do to stop inflation.
You need to earn atleast Rs 40-50,000 a month just to live comfortably (if you have a wife and two children) in a city like Islamabad, Karachi or Lahore. That's assuming that you are not renting but living in your own house. Everything-else is good
btw Gillani was sworn in as PM on March 25. The new cabinet was sworn in a few days later. So it is a bit too early to be posing this Q IMHO. Let's give them more time to deal with the challenging issues of rising inflation and terrorism. We should gauge their performance after 9-12 months.
