Niksik u can try turmeric. blackgram and milk paste as ubtan on regular basis. i hav read it works but its lot of mess and work. u can also try hair growth inhibitors like Kalo. i'm looking into these and read mixed reviews but most agree they do work in the long run after consistent use.
I used to use veet because my mom/women in our family used to say that shaving is haram (the whole metal issue). . Now that i know its not, I just wax/shave.
Sorry to sound thick but what do you mean by the metal issue?
^ some Muslims believe that using metal on the skin is haram for women…I only heard it when I was at a salon and getting my eyebrows done and asked them to cut the really long hairs and the girl said “Using metal is haram”
^what a bewaqoof girl. doesn't she know doing eye brows is haram as well. whats the point of doing one haram while avoiding another minor haram?(not sure if its even haram or a myth)
Removing body hair is supposed to be a highly recommended act. In fact some hadeeth suggest that removing hair from certain parts of the body is mandatory for your ibadah to be accepted. Now the eyebrow issue is a bit controversial. We can discuss that in another forum :D.
