I don’t see how they could not be. People have money, breast implants have gone down to ~$6000 - 15000, which would be much cheaper in Pakistan, and there is a growing fascination with being “perfect”, just like those bollywood movie stars.
I bet it secretly is, just no one wants to talk about it.
Re: So are breast implants all the rage in Pakistan now?
It's not just about the money though, you'd need to be able to find a plastic surgeon in pakistan who was qualified to carry out breast augmentations. And I would've thought that anyone who had the money for plastic surgery would pay the extra and come and have the procedure in the West.
Re: So are breast implants all the rage in Pakistan now?
The chances of it leaking out are pretty high and the stigma attached would still, in most circles, be strong enough to castigate her as an amorous slut. Major reputation downer for an upper-middle class, clutching traditions-by-the-coat-tails, wannabe-married girl. And geniune middle-class has neither the money, nor the inclination to think about breast augmentations since they do not as a rule appear in the marriage deal.
Knowing how much we trust our country, I daresay a Pakistani with money and motive will get it done overcease rather then risking the local crop.
Re: So are breast implants all the rage in Pakistan now?
makes me think back to a previous signature of mine “Are you DIEING to LIVE…or LIVING to DIE?”…what are these people getting to?
if u have transplants…that means u cant breastfeed ur child if u do have one right? some of u may think its a stupid question but I was just wondering.
Re: So are breast implants all the rage in Pakistan now?
lol. i went to pakistan like 3 years ago n my cousin felt bad for me cus i had small boobs (which i love, no perv-y guys starin!!) n they were like how are u gonna get a guy (any marriage based on how big the girls boobs are, is messed up)...
lol.. i think breast implants are becomin less popular in the us n more popular in pakistan. ( so there still far behind)
Re: So are breast implants all the rage in Pakistan now?
ok i have a very close relative who had breast implants done 2 yrs ago. The way that its done now is to make a small incision where it wont be seen (on the seam of the aureola) and they slide the implant UNDER all of the breast tissue. As a result, the woman can still breastfeed, although under supervision, as some of the milk ducts MAY become damaged. Most of the breast tissue that you can "feel" with your hand is real live tissue, the implant is underneath it. Its more recommended to wait until after children to do this as stretching occurs with breastfeeding...so if you have implants and then children you may get to be more "saggy" than waiting till kids are done.
BTW, the family member that had this done is not a loose wild woman. She had small, saggy breasts and did this for her husband....so lets not judge here. She is so happy and confident now, her hubby is ecstatic over her looks and bless them both for enjoying life and each other.

No, Shahreen and Impulse, augmentation surgery does not usually prevent breastfeeding if it is correctly done, although it can in some cases make it a bit more difficult (risk of blocked ducts and mastitis). It is reduction mammoplasty that can cause problems although you might be surprised that even in this case complete or partial breastfeding may be possible.
