Many Indians forget that Pakistan has provided the longest running barrier against Western-invasions to India since the time of Mouriyas. This is an awesome accomplishment even if Pakistanis don’t realize.

True. Except that there was no Pakistan or Pakistanis back then. It was all India

Indian Punjab has basked in peace while all this turmoil is wrecking heavoc on the other side of its borders. And Indian army didn’t need to fire a single bullet. So everyone who has an iota of love for Punjab would give at least a tiny bit of Thank You to Pakistan.

Thats where I diasgree with you. Whats happening in Pakistan is religious (Islamic) terrorism. Indian Punjab is predominatly Sikh & Hindu, so Islamic terrorism is not very likely there. Contrast that with Kashmir, where regular terrorist infiltration from Pakistan is taking place. The main reason is that terrorists find local (Muslim) support in Kashmir and can blend in easily.
