Yep, the much Internet-hyped movie after ‘The Blair Witch Project’ in 1999, is being released this Friday. This movie has no pre-showings or promos to save the plot for moviegoers. Even the producer once wanted to change the title as it reveals the plot, but actor Samuel Jackson thretened to quit the movie if they did so.
I am hoping it to be a decent if not a great movie. It cost $30M, let see if it can pass $30 over the weekend, which would be a challenge in third week of August.

i always thought "snakes on a plane" would be some sorta amazing metaphor for something bigger (i.e. more interesting). but turns out the movie is about ........snakes on a plane.

Saw it this evening...
This film was a fun couple of hours...really amusing...not scary in any way...didnt make me jump...but it was really really funny...The characters played their roles very well and the snake sequences were really good...Samuel L Jackson and the main stewardess are good...and Kenan from Kenan and Kel is hilarious...Loads of good one liners...my favourite is the bit when the immigrant girl is sucking the poison from the kid...the black guy thats been bitten then watches her sucking and says 'thats what im talking about'...Had everyone in hysterics...Good way to waste two hours...it achieves it purpose...Nice cos iv seen some really crap films recently...
As a side note the bad guy from Karate Kid 2 is in it...lol he hasnt aged one bit but he looks a hell of a lot bigger...

I regret to open a thread for this bakwaas movie. It will fall into the worst movies of 2006 catagory along with Posiedon and all the movies released in last three weeks. What the hell has happened in August, all disgusting movies are released these days.

Lol on the IMDB website some Muslim guy has said that Snakes on a Plane is islamaphobic...hes appalled that Muslims are being shown as snakes...waht ridiculous paranoia...let me guess Eddy Kim is supposed to represent Bin Lden...lol some people have too much time on their hands...
