Re: snack option ???
lol even if you make em at home u still gonna buy stuff arnt ya
but i wud suggest as we also do snacks at our mosque is a pascket of crisps, a chocolate bar and a can of coke or something .. well not fizzy all the time, replace with juice cartons.
or if ur lacking on funds at times … just stick to buying a big box of fruits. Cant go wrong.
Re: snack option ????
Tortilla chips and those chilled dips assortment to be found in the supermarket?
Individual cake slices that come in a 6 pack.
Flapjacks
Fruit yogurts
Like fbi suggested, fruit. Or canned fruit and tip top ;)
Re: snack option ????
Get a can of mango puree, 3 litres of milk, mix together with sugar if desired, hey presto, mango milkshake! Very filling.

1) Cookies
2) Chips with sala/guacamole
3) Crackers and cheese
4) Pretzels
5) Bagels and cream cheese
6) Donuts
7) Hummus with pita wedges
8) A loaf of french bread and a spread (they can cut slices of the bread)
9) Chex Mix/Mixed nuts
10) Fruit platter with dip
11 Vegetable platter with dip
12) Bring a small cake and they can cut slices
13) Make patties. When you have left over keema in your home, get some pastry sheets from the market. Cut pastry sheets into squares. Put a spoonful of keema in the middle of the sheet. Apply beaten egg to the edges. Fold sheet over in triangle or rectangle form. Seal the edges and bake in the oven.
14) Cucumber or shredded chicken with mayo sandwiches.
15) Creamy pasta salad/potato salad
16) Brownies
17) Pizza
Re: snack option ????
^ I 2nd all that, particularly hummus and pitta wedges. Take jar of olives along too.
Tins of tuna, mix with mayo, spread on sliced bread, hey presto, instant sandwich!
Why not try baking...eg. fairy cakes, muffins, victoria sandwich cakes etc. Baking can be very cost efficient as well especially if you buy a big bag of flour, sugar, margarine etc.
Fresh vegetables cut up into sticks, carrots etc with a cucumber and yogurt dip are also very healthy. Or fruit slices with some creme fraiche will go down well.
Re: snack option ????
i make "Bread Pizza" take white bread slices, put ketchup allover the slice, mozerella cheese, onion rings, bell pepper cubes, olives rings, cooked keema or chicken, (can add pine apple chunks too), tops again with mozerella cheese, put on baking tray, bake on 450F for 10-15 mins. oven temperature varies so check urself.
Good luck
