otherwise how wud we save time and web server space, apart from forums, all my notes, rough or even neat for my own use. its all sms style and so abbriviated that only I can read it .

but on forum such as this .. if its a serius talk / discussion then am against it like, how ever f its just lallu panju thread, do wht eva u feel lyk.

I dont think that sms typing is a reflection of someones intellect or a sign of undereducation .. in fact sms typing requires pretty sharp skills like shortform type that stenos used to use during dictations from their boses once.

I understand your point and you're right. Broken English is hard to understand also...but that isnt a choice right? I mean, its a small courtesy you can extend to your fellow guppies.

I dont know about banning and all but I think in general we should at least try to make an effort to be more understandable.

I don't like it when people use shorthand, slang, colloquialisms or even speak in urdo for that matter. I have nothing against the way people speak, but I find it really hard to follow. A few words every now and again is fine, but I totally skip whole posts and phrases when they aren't written in standard english.
