Smoking Gun Of An Ambassabor!!

Pakistani Ambassador to US is a smoker?

But these are words that if you go to the region, they sound like such a huge understatement. You know, impasse?" says the ambassador, as she drags on a cigarette, Cartier Lights. “I mean, there’s a huge military buildup.” <<

Now, I am a heavy smoker myself and I have no objections, even religious ones about Women smoking!!
Pakistan is a different story however. It is supposed to be ‘Islamic’. So is it OK for Paks if their ambassador puffs away?

I am not sure if she is such a big smoker now. But she must have been SMOKIN" when she was younger. Pakistan’s own Pamela Harriman, Grrrrr

Are you concerned about her health, or are you concerned about her islam? Well, either way its touching! :)

Maleeha, and for that matter many top leaders in Pakistan (male and female), not only smoke, they may also be social drinkers. One time, in one of my flights, I had an opportunity to be on the same row with Yaqoub Khan and Atiyya Inayatullah. Both outstanding leaders, I assume. And even if both of them intended to have apple juice, I am pretty sure the air-hostess was serving them 'red' or 'white' all throughout the flight. :)

I read a while ago, that a Kashmiri minister was fired for bringing liquor into the country or something of the kind. Why the double standards?

Apart from this discussion, may I ask from where have you learned about Pakistan & Islam?

Andhra liquor is HARAM ,a MORE serious indiscretion than smoking…

Personally i wouldnt want my sister or wife to be like that but is she legal …yes & in such matters isnt that what wins the case at the end of the day .You can argue but untill Pakistan or u.s. constitution declares it Illegal you have to only do what you are doing …building concensus against her.But somtime due to lack of qualified & irreplaceable ppl. Pakistan has tolerated many which it, wished it didnt have to if there was choice.

Ill tell you its not Pakistans wish…because of unfair crticism of non muslims like you that muslim women dont hold posts of importance its like your mondol commission for dalit forces lallo Yadav in your facer to embarass all with illmanner & chewing tobacco spitting all over the air port ,pakistanis have to take woman to show to its critics that it is not …a honor killing ,4 wives keeping, 13 yrs old daughter marrying, burqa forcin, mullah omer type islamist …see what you created instead ..a chimney with beehive hair do vulgar non femenine testerone charged hermophrodite ..

“If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, ‘thank you,’ that would suffice.”

The reason I pointed this out is that the rules for Women on the street in Pakistan seem to be rather strict, though not as strict as Saudi for example.
Then why is your Ambassador allowed to behave this way before a hack?

Namastee Andhra Sahib,

If your knowledge of Pakistan & Islam are limited to these boards then I would suggest that you do a little more than just that.

Read some books, make a friend you can talk to, visit Pakistani functions & if you ever get a chance visit Pakistan ... that will broaden your horizon a little bit!

No what I meant was posts in this Bulletin Board lead you to a lot of info on Islam & Pakistan!!
So I get first hand knowledge of not only Islam but how a society based on religion/ Islam operates

We Pakistanis also "like all humans" tend to twist things for our convience.

Andhra has a point. She should not smoke openly.

Well Roshnie, Ambassadors after all represent the country. Anyway smoking is really not fashionable, especially in US.
