I wasn't saying women of the world I was actually directing my reply to North America (all the support I gave was of what policies there are in the United States to decrease the amount of smokers).
I'd say that the increase of smoking amongst women is not because it is "in fashion" but simply because they are uneducated...(in most cases, that's not their fault...because women in other countries are not necesarrily granted the same rights to education as men)
