not good.
for both women and men, girls or boys, it is bad. gets into health problems. & if someone is smoking out of some kind of void in one's life, this is not a reliable sourse of motivation or even a refreshing thing to do.
so people who do do it, must drop the habit. instead they can have tea, or orange juice.
I wonder Y Parents dont keep an eye on their children as their first priority must be their children ..I think smoking is a waste of life and money :)

The parents duty is simply to tell their children about the dangers of such habits. What the kid does at that point is his/her problem. They'll learn either the hard way, or will quit by themselves as they get older. There's nothing really a parent can do besides talking to their kids and letting them know about these issues. If parents get angry and try to force the child, then the kid will only want to do it more to spite them.

What would you know about the fashion these days amongst teenage girls? Statistics show that kids have been wising up more and more each year…decreasing the total number of smokers one generation at a time. Ofcourse, there will always be smokers, but I think the educational systems here have it under control as far as getting across the facts (harms) of smoking. The rest is up to the individual themselves.

Is it not obvious? When people learned the harms of smoking, they decided to add this into the educational system and so children now know the harms of smoking - this way they think twice. Also, ciggarette companies are no longer allowed to show advertisements on television and no paper advertisements can be shown without the Surgeon General Warning. I don't know about other states, but in the state of Maryland, ciggarettes are taxed 15%. There's some incentives to not smoke.
Do you really think the amount of smokers is INCREASING still?

World statistics show that number of women smoking is on a constant rise all over the world, while the number is on a decline in men. Around 12% of women smoke all over the world and these figures are supposedly to reach 20% by 2025.
